Lifetime, Defined

This policy explains the one-time purchases that Browser.lol (operated by Zesiger.net) sold in the past, most notably "Browser Unlock" and "Premium Lifetime" together with a small number of individually negotiated lifetime variants, and how those purchases are honoured today. One-time purchases are no longer sold: the Services are offered on a free, ad-supported tier and on the auto-renewing Plus and Premium subscriptions described in our Terms of Service.

Nothing in this change takes anything away from people who bought a lifetime plan. Every lifetime entitlement remains active on Browser.lol, permanently and at no further charge, as described below. This policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

Browser.lol has been in continuous operation since 2022. Over those years we have served millions of disposable browser sessions, refined our infrastructure, and built up a stable, sustainable platform. Offering lifetime plans in early 2026 was not a marketing gimmick or a short-term cash grab. It was a deliberate decision that we had thought about for a long time.

Internally, we have always been fans of lifetime deals. As users ourselves, we prefer paying once for a tool we love rather than juggling another monthly subscription. When we first launched Browser.lol, however, we could not responsibly offer a lifetime option. Running real isolated browser containers is genuinely expensive, and a recurring subscription was the only honest way to make sure the servers, bandwidth, and storage stayed funded month after month.

By 2026, years of optimizing our container orchestration, session lifecycle, autoscaling, image caching, and overall infrastructure had driven the per-session cost down dramatically, and our advertising revenue had matured to the point where it covered the majority of day-to-day operating expenses. That combination is what made lifetime plans viable at the time: we waited until the math actually worked, because we did not want to sell a "lifetime" promise we could not keep.

Later in 2026 we returned to subscriptions as the only products sold on Browser.lol, because recurring plans price ongoing professional features honestly. The lifetime promise itself did not change: it was made to be kept, and it is being kept.

Thank you to everyone who supported Browser.lol with a purchase over the years. You are the reason the platform is what it is today.

"Lifetime" means that the entitlement attached to your account remains active for the entire operational lifetime of the Browser.lol service, with no recurring charge and no expiration date. Specifically, a lifetime entitlement:

• Was a single, one-time payment; nothing has been billed since, and nothing will ever be billed again.
• Does not expire and is not bound to any subscription period.
• Remains tied to the original Browser.lol account on which it was activated.
• Is honoured on Browser.lol itself: no migration, transfer or claim process is required, and the entitlement has not moved to any other product or website.

"Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Service, not to the natural lifetime of the purchaser. No online service can promise to exist forever, so we cannot give a binding guarantee of perpetual operation; what happens if the Service is permanently discontinued is described in Section 9.

Premium Lifetime purchases, including the individually negotiated lifetime variants, permanently receive the feature set of the current Plus subscription, at no further charge:

• All browser images, including the restricted ones.
• Ad-free use of the Services.
• The temporary email service.
• VPN location selection for browser workspaces.
• Enhanced session resources.
• Captcha exemption.
• Custom proxy support.
• Alternative domains for networks where Browser.lol is blocked.
• Priority support.

One feature is not included, because it was never part of any lifetime plan: the monthly residential proxy data allowance. It belongs to the paid subscriptions, which are ordinary purchases that you are under no obligation to make.

A lifetime account may additionally subscribe to Premium if it wants what that tier adds on top of the lifetime entitlement: saved browser profiles, programmatic access (API keys and our hosted MCP endpoint), a monthly residential proxy data allowance and a second concurrent session. The lifetime entitlement itself is unaffected by such a subscription and continues at no charge if it is cancelled.

Browser Unlock purchases keep exactly what they bought: permanent access to the restricted browser images, at no further charge and with no subscription required. In every other respect, a Browser Unlock account follows the tier it is on (free, Plus or Premium).

Lifetime entitlements are strictly non-transferable. You may not sell, gift, lend, trade, auction, or otherwise transfer the entitlement or the account on which it is activated, and you may not share account credentials with any other person. Lifetime entitlements cannot be inherited or assigned. If we detect, or have a reasonable basis to believe, that a lifetime account has been transferred, sold or shared, we may suspend or permanently terminate it.

We do not operate any automated process that deletes, disables, or downgrades lifetime accounts based on inactivity. We reserve the right to manually disable an account that has not been accessed for more than one (1) year, mainly to reduce the personal data we store in line with our Privacy Policy. If your account is disabled for inactivity, contact [email protected]; reactivation is generally granted in good faith for legitimate account holders.

In short: lifetime means lifetime, but please sign in occasionally so we know your account is still in use.

Lifetime entitlements are subject to the same rules as every other account: our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy and Fair Use Policy. We may suspend or permanently terminate a lifetime account, without refund, if it is used in violation of those policies or of applicable law. Feature scope may evolve over time; we will make commercially reasonable efforts to preserve the core value of every lifetime entitlement.

Historic one-time purchases were covered by a 7-day, full, no-questions-asked refund guarantee at the time of sale, and every request made inside that window was honoured. Those windows have closed, and because nothing that was paid for has been withdrawn, the end of one-time sales does not by itself create a refund claim. Your statutory rights remain unaffected; see our Refund Policy.

If Browser.lol is permanently discontinued, lifetime entitlements end together with the Service. We will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice by email and on the website. Beyond the guarantees that applied at the time of purchase, no further refund is owed for a discontinued service, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes that adversely affect existing lifetime customers will be communicated by email and/or via a notice on the Browser.lol website. Changes do not retroactively reduce an entitlement that was honoured before the change took effect.
